In 2018 I was given a vision by God to take my family non profit organization House of Dawn global. I have always loved traveling and giving back so combining the two just seemed right! Of course I wanted to do this full time so and everyone always ask for me to tell them about my trips, so creating a blog was perfect and allows me to make a career out of what I love to do! House of Dawn provides housing and supportive services for young moms and their children. I decided to take those same services Global, which is how HOD Global was created. My team and I completed our first mission trip to Jamaica, with the ultimate goal being Africa. From here I knew this was my purpose, but battled with how to further what God was growing inside of me… Covid hit and it put a pause on continuing my dream. In 2023 we are back in action, and guess what, Yes I made it to Africa. Ghana to be exact! My first blog post will tell you all about it. That mission trip changed my life and proved to me again this is my purpose, but still didn’t have a clear vision on how to truly live this life full time. I fasted and prayed and asked God to make it clear. Follow along as me.
