Our Return to Jamaica: A Heartfelt Mission with the Pregnancy Resource Centre of Jamaica
Our journey of giving continued as we returned to Jamaica for yet another meaningful mission. This time, we visited the Pregnancy Resource Centre of Jamaica, also known as Hebron House, a home for young mothers and children. This place touched our hearts deeply, as the stories of the owner and the CEO of House of Dawn were strikingly similar, even down to the paintings and scriptures adorning the walls. It's amazing how God goes before us and connects us in ways we could never anticipate. The day was filled with tears of joy. It was the first mission where I had to find a location and set everything up myself, and this experience has since inspired me to take the lead in organizing all my missions. We brought Christmas to Jamaica, providing an abundance of toys, Christmas hats, and essential baby supplies like diapers, wipes, bottles, and pacifiers.
To top off our visit, we hosted a pizza party and a soccer game, spreading joy and laughter among the children. The happiness on their faces was priceless. The children eagerly gave us a tour of the home, and the love and warmth within those walls were palpable. This mission to Jamaica was a beautiful reminder of the power of connection and the impact of giving. The bonds we formed and the joy we shared will stay with us forever. We're grateful for the opportunity to bring a little bit of Christmas cheer to these wonderful families and look forward to continuing our mission work in the future.
